What is Pay Per Install?

Pay Per Install (PPI) is a pricing model in which app advertisers pay for every install that publishers generate for them, but not for impressions, clicks, and other forms of engagement.

Pay Per Install Example

Here’s an example: Advertiser ABC creates a new ad campaign and agrees to pay $0.75 per install. The ad runs and generates 5,000 installs. The advertiser pays the participating publishers a total of $3,750 ($0.75 x 5,000 = $3,750).

The Pay Per Install pricing model works well for publishers, because advertisers are generally willing to pay extremely competitive rates for legitimate installs. To get started with this model, partner with a proven technology partner to connect your app(s) to quality advertisers.
