What does it take to close a deal with companies like Facebook, Google, Uber, and Zynga? It helps when you have a killer enterprise SaaS product that solves real business problems, however, that doesn’t always suffice, especially when you’re dealing with large scale organizations with plenty of stakeholders and various motivations.
We can’t share all the ingredients for how we found our way, and there is much code left to be cracked and many potential customers still out there. That’s what you’re here for!
At StoreMaven, we believe in hiring people with an insatiable appetite to learn and strive for perfection (even though nothing is ever perfect). What traits are the foundation for this role and create long-term value for world-class organizations?
StoreMaven is not a traditional workplace. If you ask our employees why they like it here, you won’t get answers such as
“I learn a lot every day”
“My work is both complex, challenging and rewarding.”
While both are true, that’s not why we’re here.
We’re here because we cherish the fact that we can wake up every morning knowing we can create something new. That StoreMaven is not about how much one person can succeed and it’s not driven by anyone’s ego, but about the company as a whole constantly striving towards evolving and becoming greater and greater.
You already worked in enterprise sales and know how such organizations operate. Our clients are the largest mobile companies out there, and standard SMBs sales
is just nothing like it.
StoreMaven is a start-up, both in size and in mentality. You need to be incredibly independent and self-motivated. You should be able to make your own task list, to take initiative, and to isolate your weaker areas and work to overcome them.
We don’t do well with massive egos or hierarchy. We all learn a great deal from each other regardless of title, department, age, or experience.
We love what we do, which makes it a whole lot easier to excel—Mavens don’t quit, don’t give up, don’t accept mediocrity in themselves or others. If you want to be passionate about what you do and be proud of the things you create… keep reading.
Working for a start-up means you get to “get your hands dirty” and learn anything about everything—whether you want a better understanding of coding, biz dev, data sets or building a company from the ground up, any of the Mavens are happy to help you out in their areas of expertise.
You also get to work with the best of the best companies in the world and learn about their business and structure. You will be able to concretely see your contributions and the impact of your work, both internally and externally.
And you will join the Maven family. We’re obsessed with each other. We would do anything for each other. We embody the ethos of work hard, play hard. We blast music in the office and spend some portion of the week destroying each other in Mortal Kombat. We meet each other’s families, walk each other’s dogs, and at least once a month go out and eat, drink, and laugh ’til it hurts. We don’t have “work personalities” and “real life personalities”—we’re genuine to a fault and we embrace your weirdness.
Please send your CV/anything else you want to say to email@example.com or share this with someone that you think might like it here, they will thank you later.
