On October 27, Apple announced that an exciting new feature, In-App Events, officially went live. Developers can create in-app events to highlight special, limited-time activities and promotions within their apps, with Apple giving them extra promotion within the App Store.

It’s proving to be an important element for app & game publishers to consider in their App Store Optimization (ASO) efforts, as in-app events take up prominent real estate in searches and elsewhere in the App Store UI.

But not only developers are excited about this new feature for engaging existing users & recruiting new downloads; many users are curious what types of events they’ll see on the App Store.
