What is the App Store Title?

The title in the app stores can be up to 30 characters long.

Why App Store Titles pages are Important

The app store title is an element all users view in their journey to install an app. Given how prominent it is, it plays a role in users’ decisions to install.

Moreover, the title can include words and terms that are indexed by the app stores and allow the mobile app or game to be found through search. Thus, the title should also be considered from a keyword optimization perspective.

App Store Titles Page and ASO

Although the title is chosen mostly for keywords, one of the most common mistakes is to neglect its impact on app store product page conversion rates.

As the title is not a visual element, it has less impact on conversion rates than the screenshots and videos, but it still does have some effect.

Similar to all elements on an app store product page, the title should be tested and measured against different audiences to quantify the impact of changing it, even if it is mostly for app keyword optimization purposes.
